The Sailing Ventures Sailing Club
provides people easy access to a sailboat. Members
get out on the water without the usual paperwork and
expense of chartering. Club Members simply book the boat and go sailing! The Sailing Club is certainly the most convenient and inexpensive way to sail.
Reciprocal Club Links As a club member, you have access to member rates at clubs in other locations.

Two Levels of Club Membership:
There are two levels of Sailing Club Membership.
The first level is called Capri Membership, and here is how it works:
Capri Membership:
Complete (or have completed) ASA 101 Basic Keelboat Class with any ASA certified sailing school. This club level can only charter 22ft sailboats in our fleet.
If you have taken your class on one of our boats, you are automatically 'checked out' on that boat. You can view boat availability online at our website (see above link), and can reserve a boat after signing up for Capri Membership. The cost is $150/calendar year for membership.

•Discounted rates on boat rentals.
•Members-only access to Club Sails, Club Events, and more.
•Reciprocal club benefits with participating sailing clubs.
•Access to beautifully maintained sailboats in cruise-ready condition, without the maintenance, fueling, berthing expenses.
We only ask that you help keep our boats clean and in good condition as they are 'your boats', too!
The second level is called Full Cruising Membership, here's how it works:
Full Cruising Membership:
Complete both ASA 101, 103 (Basic Keelboat/Basic Cruising) courses. This club level has access to all of the boats in our fleet.
You are checked out on the boats you have taken classes on with Sailing Ventures.
You can either upgrade your Capri Membership for $145/calendar year, or if you are not a member, first year dues are $295/calendar year.
After the first year, your annual dues are $150.
What you get:
•Access to all boats you are checked out on in our fleet at discounted rates.
•First year of Vessel Assist membership, which is required for Full Cruising Members, is included in first year of signup as Full Cruising Member. You need to sign up for Vessel Assist (currently $67/year) and we will discount $50 from your first charter.
•Members-only invitations to Club events.
•Reciprocal membership to participating sailing schools.
•Simple, online reservation system for booking your boat at any time.
•Discounted sailing gear.
Boat Check-Outs
Please contact us to make an appointment for a check-out on any boat. Check-outs are approximately 2 hours long and are free of charge to Sailing Club Members.

Club Members...
• Unlimited day use of Sailing Venture's sailboats.

• $295 Membership fee for the first year which includes your Vessel Assist membership; $150 annual renewal fee.
• Reciprocal club benefits with participating sailing schools.
• Discounted half and full day rates.
