Basic Cruising (103)

PREREQUISITE:	Basic Cruising Class (ASA 103) Sailing Certification
COST:	$395 per person
DESCRIPTION:	Sailors will learn to cruise safely in local and regional waters as both skipper and crew on an auxiliary powered sailboat of about 22 to 27 feet in length, in moderate winds and sea conditions. This class has an emphasis of operating a sailboat under auxiliary power. Basic Cruising is an on-the-water class held in 2 separate sessions which are conducted over two days of instruction.

Cancellation Policy; A full class credit will be issued to you if for any reason you must cancel your sailing class. Credit is good for two years after the first date of enrollment. Credits are transferable to friends or family members. Cash refunds are granted if you purchased Refund Insurance (see below).

Refund Insurance; Unexpected events sometimes arise and force us to change our plans. Sailing Ventures offers our sailing students Refund Insurance for $45 per class and per student--due at the time of enrollment. Refund Insurance entitles you to a full refund of class tuition should you cancel your enrollment more than 14 days prior to the start of your class. If you cancel within 14 days of the start of your class, you will receive a full credit of your tuition valid for 2 years from your original class date. Credit is transferable to friends and family members, and is good for all Sailing Ventures classes.
