Sailing Lessons and Calendar
Take a look at our
Sailing Club.
It is the simplest, most affordable access to our Fleet of sailboats. We have added several Sailing Clubs in California with whom we now share reciprocal sailing club rates!
What is it like to sail at Tahoe? Summer lake winds are variable, typically gentle north winds in the morning, becoming stronger in the afternoon/evenings and swinging out from the west/southwest. The challenge lies in the unpredictability from one moment to the next and you will learn to read the wind on the water as you sail Tahoe. On the real windy days, gusts can get up to 40+ knots and waves heights to match! Our school is located on the southwest corner of the lake and so enjoys some protection from most heavy winds, making it the most ideal location for teaching sailing.
